Alvaro Morata happy at Juventus despite Real Madrid return talk

David Beckham says Alvaro Morata and Marco Verratti are two of the world's most exciting footballers, aside from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alvaro Morata has once again insisted he is happy at Juventus and not considering a return to Real Madrid.

Morata, 22, joined the Bianconeri last year in a deal which saw Real retain a right to buy him back for a fixed sum during the duration of his five-year contract.

The amount the Spanish side would have to pay grows each year, but that is not reducing the likelihood of them activating the clause and buying Morata back.

His goals helped Juve reach the final of the Champions League last season while he has netted key goals in their successful start to this year's European campaign.

The Spain forward intends to score many more important goals in Turin, dismissing suggestions that his return to Madrid is inevitable.

"It's true that on paper I could go back to Madrid, but there are some things that are worth more than a simple clause, such as a person's happiness," Morata told Radio Marca while on international duty.

Morata feels his ambitions can be fulfilled in Turin, and he has set himself a unique target of walking 80 miles should Juve claim glory in Europe.

He said: "If we win the final at San Siro, then I'm going to walk back to Turin."

On Wednesday, Pavel Nedved said he believes Morata's future is with Serie A champions Juventus.
