West Ham chief won't welcome Payet bids

Dimitri Payet got tongues wagging even more after he turned in another strong performance last night, when he netted France’s third goal in their 5-2 win over Iceland during last night’s Euro 2016 quarter-final win over Iceland.
The West Ham man has been one of the star performers in France this summer, which has led to speculation that Europe’s big boys - led by Real Madrid - are after the 29-year-old.
Talk emerged last week that West Ham may be willing to sell if they received a silly-money bid, but Hammers’ co-owner David Gold has moved to dampen speculation on Twitter.
“I have always said, we do not welcome any bid for Dimitri Payet,” he posted earlier this morning.
I’d dare say that this won’t be the last we’ll hear of this one in the coming weeks though...
